im annoyed so i found an excuse to make a post on newgrounds about it. i hate how now it feels like every youtuber knows how to do a Gullom from LOTR impression. i can do one too, but now i dont feel as special because it feels like everyone on youtube can do that now.

so yea nothing much just wanted to say that.

commission. ok so i saw this thing that said i need to make a news post, or blog post with the word commission somewhere in the post to be "open for commissions."

so i thought, "ok i'll do this right now." but then i thought i'd use this as an advantage to rant about something. something that i wanted to put in a youtube video on my channel, but i feel like that isn't really my kind of content and would go really terribly. so im just gonna do it here, because its already been done on reddit.

uhh yea. this thing i've been waiting to talk about for a couple of weeks now is a pretty simple concept that isnt too hard to understand, but apparently there a few people who think otherwise, and need correcting. ok, here we go. not being in a relationship with someone who is gay is not homophobic.

this is pretty simple. ok. hypothetical. you do not want to date a gay person. this does not make you homophobic. end of discussion.

...

ok, it isn't. there's still some explaining to do.

so if you do not want to be in a relationship with a gay person, that doesn't make you homophobic. why? because gay people aren't your preference. take me for example. i'm straight, as a male, this means that i prefer women over men in a relationship. personally, i am not homophobic, (i mean, i'm sure no one considers themselves homophobic, even the people who are) this means that if you're gay, frickin' go for it man. i couldn't care less who you'd rather date. you're a great person, and you deserve to be in a relationship with who you want, and you shouldn't be forced into a relationship, or feel you need to be in one with a certain person.

though i stand up for the rights of gay people, and support gay pride, i'd rather not date a gay person. men are not my preference. relationship preferences ≠ homophobia.

ok, so this isn't a very discussed topic on the internet, but i'm sure when you bring it up in conversation, everyone mostly has similar thoughts on this, and those thoughts are the thoughts i just described.

i feel compelled to talk about this because i want people to know that i feel strongly about this, and after scrolling through the comments on a certain reddit post, people seem to be having disagreements, and i'm just here to put this as bluntly and simple as i can.

so yeah. that's all. it's fricking 1:34 am. i'm done with this.
